Masks required to be worn at Mercer County Courthouse

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – Due to increased concerns in regards to the safety and security of our employees and constituents earlier today, a mask will now required to be worn while in the courthouse.

The Mercer County Commission released the following statement: “It is acceptable to wear your own mask, but if you do not have one, we will provide a mask upon entering the building.”

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but in consultation with federal, state and local authorities, we feel that the safety of our communities is of utmost importance.”
