Huntington, WV (WOAY) – Marshall University has announced the launch of a national search for its next director of athletics.
According to a media release, Marshall University is working with CarrSports Consulting, a firm with expertise in collegiate athletics executive searches. The goal is to identify and appoint a new AD within the next 60 days.
“The role of athletic director is crucial to the continued success of Marshall Athletics and our university community,” said Marshall University President Brad D. Smith. “We are committed to finding a bold, forward-thinking leader who will build on our proud traditions and drive us into the future with innovation and excellence.”
The university also has an 11-member search committee led by Marshall University Chief of Staff Ginny Painter as the chair of the committee to oversee process and advance a slate of finalists.
