Huntington, WV (WOAY)—Marshall University and Intuit are partnering to launch a program that aims to empower students, foster innovation, and strengthen the local economy.
The partnership focuses on expanding the talent pipeline by creating a hiring funnel between Marshall and Intuit for tech-driven jobs like cybersecurity and recruiting to strategic locations on the East Coast.
The program will establish a prosperity hub this fall in Marshall’s Innovation District on 4th Avenue in Huntington to foster economic development, attract new investments, and create jobs.
The initiative will also launch an internship program offering students hands-on experience and valuable career opportunities.
Finally, the partners plan to integrate Intuit’s financial education curriculum for college and high school students to ensure financial wellness for the next generation.
