HUNTINGTON, WV (WOAY) – A Cabell County County man who police believe fatally shot two women and injured a child yesterday has been located.
Clyde Crawford, a 52-year-old man from Huntington, was found dead today with what police believe is a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was located by a bloodhound with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s office.
It caps off an investigation that involved multiple agencies and involved surveillance of Crawford’s known locations and overhead drone.
Police also identified one of the victims as Clyde’s wife, Sharon Crawford. The other adult was identified as Alexis B. Beard. The juvenile who was injured is a 20-month-old girl. She is in the hospital in stable condition.
