Shady Spring, WV (WOAY) A man is facing DUI charges in Raleigh County.
According to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Johnson responded to a call on Thursday, May 7, at the 800 block of East Whitby Road in Shady Spring in connection with a vehicle collision involving a Ford Bronco and a dirt bike.
The juvenile driving the dirt bike was seriously injured in the crash and air-lifted to Charleston for further treatment.
Throughout the investigation, authorities identified James Lane as the driver of the Bronco.
Police arrested Lane, charging him with DUI, first offense, and DUI causing serious bodily injury.
His bond was set at $25,000.
