Tazewell, VA (WOAY) – The Tazewell County Police Department has arrested a man after a person was shot last November.
Roger Brandon Cremeans was arrested on charges of reckless handling of a firearm, shooting the firearm in an occupied house, and child pornography.
The investigation began after a fifty-year-old victim, Velva Michelle Matney, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The police department was assisted in the investigation by the Virginia State Police, Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, and the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
