Beckley, WV (WOAY)-Raleigh County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man following a disturbance call on Wednesday.
The Sheriff’s office says deputies responded to the 3600 block of Harper Road on November 5 following reports of a domestic incident.
After investigating, deputies arrested 34-year-old Matthew Hunt, who is now facing several charges, including domestic battery, petit larceny, attempted petit larceny, second-degree robbery, and malicious or unlawful assault.
Hunt is currently in Southern Regional Jail awaiting further court proceedings on a $25,000 bail.
Sheriff Frank Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton commended the deputies involved for their quick response and thorough investigation.
Officials remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
