Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – A Greenbrier County man has been arrested for possession of child pornography.
According to a media release from the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday September 30, 2025, 21-year-old Devon Davis of Rainelle, West Virginia has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography.
The Greenbrier County sheriff, Bart Baker, says his office received a tip from the West Virginia State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. Sergeant D. L. Vaught of the sheriff’s office led the investigation.
In a joint statement, Greenbrier County Prosecuting Attorney Nicole Campbell and Sheriff Bart Baker emphasized their commitment to protecting children:
“Anyone who targets, victimizes, or exploits our children will be targeted for arrest and prosecution. The safety of our children is our top priority, and we remain steadfast in our resolve to protect them at all costs.”
Davis is currently being held at the Southern Regional Jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as evidence continues to be reviewed.
