Love Hope Center for the Arts to unveil 4th Annual “Artists of the New” exhibition with festival on August 23

Fayetteville, WV (WOAY)- A celebration of local talent is coming to Fayette County this weekend.

The Love Hope Center for the Arts is set to open its fourth annual “Artists of the New” exhibition on Saturday, August 23.

Showcasing artists from Fayette, Raleigh, and Summer counties, the event features works in 2-D and 3-D across all mediums.

The opening day will be more than just an exhibit but a community festival, with vendors, food trucks, local craft beer, and live music from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., featuring performances by Ryan Brandenburg and the Carlisle Trash Pile, Archie & the Speedwobbles, and headliner Colby T. Helms & the Virginia Creepers.

Event organizers host the celebration to honor the local art scene in a region that is often heavily focused on tourism.

A pedestrian-safe shuttle will be available, with street closures ensuring a safe and walkable experience.

The exhibit runs through October 19.
