Locals share their favorite memories with Dad for Father’s Day

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY)- Today, it’s time to say thanks to dad, because it’s Father’s Day. We spoke to locals about their favorite memories with their dad for this Father’s Day.

“One of the times after winning a tournament and seeing him proud of me, you know. I have vague memories of making little, you know, grade school, happy Father’s Day kind of things and seeing the kind of smirk he gave,” said Jordan Furrow.

“When I was younger I would go visit him during the summer for a few weeks. He lived at this apartment that had a nice swimming pool. We would go in the deep end I would put my feet in his hands and he would pull me up really high. I’d do flips and stuff,” said Ary’an Graham.

“Probably my favorite memory of Father’s Day was when we went to Pipestem, and we were hiking, we were fishing, we were having a campfire. So I just remember sitting around the fire, going through the woods and it was just one of those memories I’ll never forget,” said Chris Buchanan.

WOAY wishes all fathers a very Happy Father’s Day!
