ANSTED, WV (WOAY) – To give back to their community, two Ansted women made and distributed meals to essential workers in the area.
Libby Lucas from Ansted helped coordinate the effort and says that anyone working on Easter during these times deserves something nice for what they are doing.
“They’re putting their life literally on the line for us. This is the least we could do. We’re not going anywhere, we’re doing the six feet. We’re doing everything we’re supposed to. But we’re still trying to help them because they’re helping us,” Lucas said.
She helped deliver meals to first responders and other essential workers in Ansted, Mt. Hope and Fayetteville.
