OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – While many businesses around the state are struggling with the closure of restaurants, cafe one ten in Oak Hill has adapted to the situation and is thriving.
The cafe shifted to allowing free deliveries to abide by social distancing rules and has since seen an increase in business. Don Williams, the owner of cafe one ten, says the restaurant’s success comes from the support of their community.
“We’re providing a service. But I think a lot of people are really kind of showing us some love just because they’ve ate here and they know it’s a hard time for a small business, a small restaurant in particular. You know the response has been kind of overwhelming, on deliveries especially,” Williams said.
Williams also said his employees are still finding work as there’s been an increased need for delivery drivers.
