Beckley, WV (WOAY) – A local police officer recently completed a national training program.
According to a media release from the Beckley Police Department, Deputy Police Chief David Allard completed the “Investigative Strategies for Child Abduction Cases” course.
The specialized training program is offered through the AMBER Alert National Training and Technical Assistance Program by Fox Valley Technical College.
The course is designed to strengthen investigative techniques and improve multi-agency coordination in response to child abduction incidents.
Deputy Chief Allard’s participation reflects the department’s continued commitment to professional excellence and the protection of vulnerable children in our community.
