McDowell County, WV (WOAY) – An Appalachian aid organization founded by Tyler Childers is giving back to address a lack of clean water in McDowell County.
The Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, founded in 2020 by Childers and his wife, Senora May, will be issuing $500,000 in grants to organizations around Appalachia.
One of those is the McDowell County water crisis campaign, being put on by Cross Roads United Methodist Church.
