Local greenhouse practices social distancing

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – If you decide to test out your green thumb while staying at home, you may find yourself at a greenhouse in the near future.

Morris Greenhouses posted a policy change to it’s Facebook page last week, working to assure it’s staff and customers’ safety.

The greenhouses are still open, but now offer curbside services for orders placed the evening before. Morris Greenhouses also ask that customers follow CDC guidelines.

“We’re just trying to encourage people to stay safe,” said Sue Morris. “It’s really important for us to stay healthy and our customers to stay healthy. We’re asking that you wear a mask when you come, and if you don’t have a mask, you can just tie a kerchief around your face.”

Only nine customers are allowed in the open area at a time. Customers are asked not to shop in groups.
