West Virginia (WOAY) – You have seen him with giant pumpkins and other vegetables before, but this time, he may have one of the smallest fruits ever recorded!
Ryan Cook is a former veteran turned garden enthusiast who has grown some of the largest pumpkins you have ever seen.
But this week, he may have found the smallest watermelon ever to be recorded.
Weighing in at only 63 grams, you can tell that the watermelon is fully mature through the presence of dark seeds.
Next time you are in your garden, do not forget that bigger does not always mean better.
