BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – A local businessman is throwing his hat into the ring. Tom Moseley is running for Beckley Common Council Ward 3. Moseley has been a mail carrier for ten years and says has carried mail all through Beckley and has watched the neighborhood slowly decline.
“I live here and our streets have not been paved, they’re cracked, our sidewalks are cracked. We have abandoned houses everywhere. Crime rates are up in the area. We have to take our neighborhoods back and it starts with us,” said candidate Tom Moseley.
Moseley says there’s a lot that needs to be done in the city of Beckley and he is here to help.
