Lewisburg, WV (WOAY) – Southern West Virgina city voted top spot again!
For the third year in a row Lewisburg, WV is the winner of USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice for Best Small Town Food Scene.
“Being a restaurant owner in Lewisburg is a wonderful and unique experience. This community, with so many independent business owners, really shines for our locals and all the tourists that come into town,” Emily Isaacs, proprietor of the Humble Tomato, said. “This is evident when we chat with someone about their experience here. And the food scene is one part of that amazing puzzle that puts it all together! What an honor to be recognized again for all our hard work and dedication to our craft.”
The Lewisburg restaurant scene continues to grow year after year with more than 15 locally owned restaurants available with diverse culinary styles.
“This marks Lewisburg’s third year of winning Best Small Town Food Scene, and for good reason,” Kara D. Dense, president & CEO of Experience Greenbrier Valley, said. “The town offers a wide variety of options and a good range of price points.”
A panel of experts, USA TODAY editors and contributors nominated Lewisburg as one of 20 small towns across the United States. Voting for the Best Small Town Food Scene took place throughout March.
Lewisburg also holds the title of Coolest Small Town.
