LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY) – Lewisburg is recognized on a national scale on USA Today’s top 10 Small Town Food Scenes.
The Greenbrier County town is competing with nine other favorite travel destinations to be recognized as the Best Small Town Food Scene. Lewisburg has a variety of local food spots to flaunt, including The French Goat, Stardust Cafe, and The Humble Tomato.
“People are still looking to travel and they’re still dreaming about traveling,” said Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau communications manager Valerie Pritt. “Now that they know that there’s this small town in West Virginia where there’s not a lot of population–that’s something that people are looking for when they’re looking to travel right now. It’s really exciting to be on that national scene and be talked about that way.”
