Lewisburg, WV (WOAY) – The Lewisburg Police Department is actively searching for a missing person and is asking for your assistance.
39-year-old Jarred David Schultz of Barboursville was last seen on August 5th around 11:40 pm in the Briar Patch Bar and Grill parking lot.
Schultz was reportedly in the area for the LIV golf tournament.
He was last seen wearing a pink polo shirt, blue hat, and grey shorts.
Local authorities are working with other agencies to expand search efforts.
Anyone that has seen him or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact the Lewisburg police department at 304-645-1626.
Update: Lewisburg authorities have discovered a deceased male in a wooded area believed to be Schultz. There is no foul play suspected at this time
