HINTON, WV (WOAY) – Summers County will host the Class A Region 3 Section 2 championship game Friday following a 62-25 victory Thursday against Montcalm.
The Lady Bobcats established momentum early in the matchup, led in large part by Taylor Isaac’s 25 points; Gavin Pivont chipped in with 14.
Also on Thursday, Greenbrier West won 59-38 against Greater Beckley, with Kenley Posten recording 27 points for the Lady Cavs. Greenbrier West will travel to Hinton on Friday for the sectional title game; the Lady Bobcats won both regular season meetings.
It will be one of three sectional championship games in our area on Friday. Greenbrier East welcomes Woodrow Wilson to Fairlea, while PikeView will face Bluefield at Princeton.
