Fayetteville, WV (WOAY)- It’s been going strong for 10 years, and it’s expecting hundreds of participants this year.
The Bridge Day 5k is coming up, and there is still time to register. The race is expecting runners from 28 different states and even the UK.
The race started with Active Southern West Virginia as a way to get people into these events, which serve as fundraisers for different organizations, including this year, where the proceeds go towards the organizers’ elementary school run club across the state.
Online registration closes at midnight on October 14. There will be another chance to register the evening before Bridge Day on October 17.
