Kia recalls over 427,000 Telluride SUVs due to steering wheel malfunction

Oak Hill, WV (CNN)-  Kia has recalled over 427,000 Telluride SUVs.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the SUV can roll away while in park.

The recall affects all Telluride vehicles made between 2020-2023 and specific 2024 models.

The NHTSA report says a central component of the vehicle’s steering wheel may have been improperly assembled on the recalled vehicles.

Kia advises owners to take the SUV to a Kia dealer to install an updated electronic parking brake software.

Kia will reimburse you for the repair.
