Elkview, WV (WOAY) The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a deceased man’s relatives after discovering his urn.
Authorities discovered an urn along I-79 in Elkview containing the ashes of David “Teddie” Shirkey.
Shirkey died in June 2011 in Charleston.
The sheriff’s office has attempted to get in touch with his relatives, but several family members have either passed away or are unable to be located.
