Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – A Kanawha County man was arrested following a search conducted by a SWAT Team.
According to a media release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday November 18, 2025, a Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a home on Rich Fork Road in Sissonville, WV.
As a result of the search deputies recovered multiple firearms and several pounds of suspected marijuana packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.
Following the search, deputies arrested 27-year-old Alexander Franklin Rhodes of Sissonville, WV.
According to court records, Rhodes is charged with one count of Strangulation, suffocation, or asphyxiation, one count of Wanton endangerment involving a firearm and one count of Domestic assault.
Rhodes was taken to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later bonded out on a $10,000 cash only bond, according to deputies.
The investigation is still ongoing, and deputies say additional charges may be pending
