Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Just for Kids Child Advocacy Center is celebrating a major win from Amazon’s Beaver facility ribbon-cutting on Wednesday.
Just for Kids received a $15,000 check from Amazon at the event.
Amazon selected the organization from a pool of local nonprofits, a process that director Deanee Johnson said she learned about a week before the event.
Johnson says that Just for Kids hasn’t yet decided how exactly the money will be distributed through the organization, but says that every dollar will go directly to helping the children and families they serve.
