Hinton, WV (WOAY) – Summers County senior Jacob McBride signed a letter of intent Friday to continue his track & field career at Concord University.
McBride, who plans to major in athletic training, won the Class A state championship in the long jump last weekend, and also placed third in the 300 meter hurdles. He says he will focus on the long jump and several relay events for the Mountain Lions.
McBride was also part of the Bobcat football squad that has reached the playoffs each of the past three years, including making the Class A semifinals in 2017.
