GRANDVIEW, WV (WOAY)- Anything can happen in the woods… Including Theatre West Virginia’s production of “Into the Woods,” opening this week!
The show will take place at Grandview’s outdoor amphitheater. It opens this Thursday and will run every night, Tuesday through Sunday, for the next 3 weeks. Doors open at 7 and the show starts at 8.
For those who may not know the tale, it’s a unique musical that focuses on the Brothers Grimm fairytales. However, it’s a new way to think about what happens next.
“It is a darkly comic story about what happens at the end of all of our favorite what we consider fairy tales,” said kb saine, the Artistic Director for Theatre West Virginia. “It really asks the question of what’s next when we say happily ever after, what’s the ever after part? So this entire musical talks about those moments and the ever after and how people try to find their forever after happiness with one another.”
