Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – Thursday was National Save a Life Day.
This annual event depends on volunteers to set up at local businesses for mobile outreach.
They will train on the use and administration of naloxone as well as provide it for free to take with you.
On site, they instruct on how to recognize the signs of overdose and emphasize that if you think someone has OD’d, the first thing to do is call 911, and then administer naloxone.
