Mount Hope, WV (WOAY)-Have you heard about the HOPER project?
Well, now’s your chance!
Housed-Up, Inc. is in the running for a $1.3 million grant to launch the groundbreaking HOPER Project right in Mount Hope, with funding decisions expected by December 11, 2025.
HOPER stands for Housing Options for People Exiting Recovery.
The organization aims to create a single building combining housing, employment opportunities, and on-site case management all under one roof.
It’s a bold new step to support people transitioning out of recovery residences or sober living facilities.
The goal is long-term housing stability, job support, and most importantly, a fresh start.
Residents will build rental and income history while receiving the wrap-around services they need to succeed.
