Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): Following a sprinkle this afternoon and perhaps a heavier shower east of Route 219, high pressure will ensure a dry, warm stretch of weather.
Early fog will give way to mid-morning sunshine followed by fair weather cumulus clouds each afternoon Saturday through Thursday. Near average lower 50s coupled with warm 70s in the afternoon will be the perfect recipe to instigate the fall foliage.
A cold front will likely cross the region Friday evening and produce rain showers. This front will yield a cooler weather pattern next weekend. A hard frost during the week of October 9-12 still looks on track.
