Good evening, folks! We’re tracking some rain this Thursday evening, especially for areas close to the mountains to our east. A few storms with heavier rain pockets have popped up, which is great for those areas seeing the rain. However, much of the region remains fairly dry.
Looking ahead, we have rain chances for nearly every day in the upcoming week. That said, it’s likely that most of you won’t see any rain tomorrow unless you live near the mountains.
This weekend, rain chances are creeping into the forecast, but there’s no need to start canceling plans just yet. For Friday, the best chances for rain will be in our northeastern mountain zones. Saturday will likely bring some morning showers, with the chance for sprinkles across the area throughout the day. Sunday follows a similar pattern, but rain is expected later in the evening and overnight.
By Monday, rain chances increase, and the wet weather may stick around through Tuesday—and possibly until the end of the week.
As for temperatures, expect typical late-summer heat this weekend, with highs in the low to mid-80s. Be sure to drink plenty of water and enjoy the last weekend of summer!
