Exciting news, folks—rain is finally on the way! Starting tomorrow night, rain chances will increase across the region, and it looks like we’ll be seeing showers throughout much of the week. This welcome change comes thanks to a disturbance off the coast of the Carolinas, which will move inland and bring us some much-needed moisture.
As of now, rain is expected from Monday through Friday, offering a break from the dry and warm conditions we’ve been experiencing. With the rain, temperatures will cool off a bit, with highs only reaching the low 70s and upper 60s for the first half of the week. By Wednesday through Friday, we’ll warm up slightly before what looks to be another cooler weekend ahead.
