Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) A new festival is inviting mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts to the New River Gorge this weekend.
The first-ever NRG Bike Fest will take place October 2-4.
The weekend will feature guided rides for all skill levels, the new Needleseye Trail system, free skills clinics, youth rides, races, live music, food, camping, and more.
The festival will also include the WV Enduro Series grand finale, a vintage mountain bike show, and a UCI World Cup watch party.
Friday’s events will be held at Arrowhead Bike Farm, with Saturday and Sunday activities at ACE Adventure Resort.
The festival uses a “Pay what you can” model, so there is no required admission fee for the festival, rides, or community activities.
Organizers say voluntary donations are welcome to help support the festival and trail system.
