Beckley, WV (WOAY)-It’s that time of year for exciting winter activities, and one is returning to the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine this Friday.
The ice skating rink at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine opens on Friday, November 21, and will open on select days through Sunday, December 7.
The hours for the rink are 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
The rink is open from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and 01:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The rink will not operate on Thanksgiving Day.
Admission is $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for children, including skate rental.
Tickets are good for one hour of skating.
You can purchase yours at the exhibition coal mine complex at 513 Ewart Avenue.
The Exhibition Coal Mine and Youth Museum will also host Appalachian Coal Town Christmas, kicking off on November 28.
The event features guided underground tours, caroling, and so much more.
Craft vendors will also be in attendance for any of your holiday shopping needs.
