Clear Fork, WV (WOAY) – Less than two weeks after meeting in New Richmond, Wyoming East and Westside renewed their girls basketball rivalry, with both teams having been in the AP top 10 for much of the season.
It was the Lady Warriors’ first game since winning the Big Atlantic Classic, and they established the momentum early, leading 28-10 at halftime. Westside would make plays in the second half, but Wyoming East went on to win 51-33.
Jasmine Blankenship led all scorers with 16 points, while Hannah Toler had 11 for the Lady Renegades.
