Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) – With both teams ready to start sectionals next week, Fayetteville girls basketball hosted Greenbrier West on Thursday night.
The Lady Pirates led 25-7 at halftime, and continued to have success on offense in the second half, particularly on bank shots and second-chance opportunities. They close the regular season with three wins out of four.
Greenbrier West did find success in the second half, with Lynzee McClung & Kenley Posten each scoring seven points to lead the Lady Cavs. They are the second seed in their section.
