Coal City, WV (WOAY) – Wyoming East & Independence – two teams receiving votes in the latest AP Class AA poll – met in Raleigh County on Tuesday night.
Both teams made plays early, with the Patriots leading after the first quarter, but the Warriors went into halftime up 45-42.
This game would go to double overtime, as Wyoming East won 89-85. Zach Cook led the Warriors with 25 points, while Dylan Dickens scored 24 for Independence.
