How do you feed 15,000 at the National Jamboree

Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – There are 15,000 people at the Summit Bechtel Reserve for ten days for the National Jamboree, and they all need to be fed.

For that, there’s a team dedicated to nothing but food.

Staff at each subcamp run a distribution point where troops come to them.

The scouts pick up their food, haul it back to camp, and do the cooking themselves. Keeping those shelves stocked takes deliveries rolling in all day long.
