Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) Community leaders and advocates will gather this week to discuss housing challenges across southern West Virginia.
Housed Up Inc. is hosting an in-depth discussion on housing barriers on Thursday, May 21st, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the New River Convention Center in Oak Hill.
The three-hour event will feature three panel discussions focused on different housing challenges facing the region.
Panel one will focus on recovery housing barriers, panel two will address workforce housing challenges, and panel three will center on housing policy.
Organizers say the discussion is designed to bring together community members, housing advocates, and stakeholders to share ideas and solutions for people seeking housing and those working to build it in southern West Virginia.
