WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV):A hot and sweaty day is what we’ll have tomorrow across Southern West Virginia. Highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 80s, but with the humidity, it will feel more like the 90s and even into the 100s in some locations.
While the heat will dominate the day, there’s also a chance of a few storms popping up in the afternoon. These storms could provide brief relief from the heat but won’t be widespread. Keep an eye on the sky and stay hydrated!
Looking ahead to Wednesday, the storm chances increase slightly as the remnants of Beryl move closer to the region. The storm will bring extra moisture, but shouldn’t move directly overhead. Still, this will contribute to some storm potential.
