Happy Monday all! We’re waking up to dense fog across the area today. As the sun rises, visibility will gradually improve, with most of the fog expected to burn off by around 10 a.m. Still, give yourself some extra time on the roads this morning.
Following yesterday’s soaking rain, all that leftover moisture is sticking around—meaning it’s going to feel muggy out there. Fog this morning is just a preview of the sweaty day ahead, with high humidity and heat making for some uncomfortable conditions.
While shower chances are minimal today, they’re not zero. That said, I personally think most of us will stay dry. Expect to feel the heat more than anything, with temperatures remaining hot through Wednesday.
Looking ahead, Thursday into the weekend brings a much-welcomed cooldown, with highs dropping back into the 70s—woohoo! Definitely something to look forward to.
