Honoring former delegate Don Perdue

Wayne County, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has ordered that flags be lowered to half staff at the Capitol Complex and all state buildings in Wayne County to honor Don Perdue.

The order began at noon on October 20 and will remain until sunset on the day of interment.

Don C. Perdue repesented Wayne county in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1999 to 2016. During his time he served the 17, 18 and 19 districts.

Perdue also helped the community as a pharmacist and Executive Director of the Wayne County Economic Development Authority.

Born in Kenova, he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both chemistry from Marshall University and pharmacy from Ohio Northern University.
