The Highland Fire in New River Gorge Park has continued to burn, already scorching 210 acres in the area. With that, we have increasing concerns about air quality. Fayette and Raleigh counties are particularly affected, with Beckley showing an Air Quality Index (AQI) rating of 125, which is unhealthy for sensitive groups.
The days ahead look hazy due to the Highland Fire, but we may get some relief on Sunday and Monday from the rain. Meteorologist Christian Boteler breaks down the details:
