Kentucky (WOAY) – A large music festival that has called Greenbrier County home for the past couple of years is announcing some major changes. Healing Appalachia, a concert raising funds and awareness for the fight against opioids through music will be moving to Kentucky.
The previous concert series had been held at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds in Fairlea, West Virginia. In a post on the Healing Appalachia groups Facebook page the change of location and new date were announced.
Early bird tickets go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 4, and this year’s event is scheduled for September 19th and 20th.
No specific venue or performers have been announced so far.
