The next two cold fronts promise to bring elevated winds.
Wind Advisories are hoisted for tonight into Tuesday. The peak gusts will be 8 a.m. to Noon Tuesday, reaching 45-50 mph.
Fresh Wind Advisories and likely High Wind Warnings will be issued for western Pocahontas and western Greenbrier County for Wednesday’s event. Peak gusts of 45-50 mph are expected between Noon-5 p.m. Even the Route 19 and I-77 corridor will gust to 45 mph.
A warming trend is expected with rain on Friday that will trigger ponding in several places.
