Kanawha County, WV (WOAY)—A Southern West Virginia auto manufacturing company says it is laying off employees due to new tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
Greenpower Motor Company notified workers on Friday.
The company, which manufactures electric buses in South Charleston, said new tariffs have increased operational costs.
