Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co. Holiday Celebrations

Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company is celebrating the holidays with a unique Christmas tree and live local music. GVBC and Smooth Ambler Distillery came together to create a tree made entirely of used whiskey barrels and they are inviting everyone to see it light up for the first time.

The tree will be lit at 6pm on Friday, December 13th and attendees are encouraged to bring an ornament to hang on the tree.

“We are asking folks here in the local community to bring in either a handmade ornament or maybe their favorite ornament that has been passed down through the family and friends,” Jason Nerenberg said

The ornaments that you bring will be entered into a contest for the favorite and the winner will be awarded unique prizes.

This Saturday is also a special one at Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company because a brand new brew is making its way to the taps.

“It’s called Three Rails Trail Barrel Aged Brown Ale…it’s a unique beer because it’s a traditional brown that we aged in a barrel picked by the West Virginia State Parks,” said Jeff Frizsell.

The beer was brewed in conjunction with the West Virginia state parks, and will be released at Pipestem Resort State Park and the GVBC taproom at 2pm on Saturday.
