Greenbrier County woman faces felony drug charges in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- A Greenbrier County woman is facing felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Fayette County.

On Friday night, just after 9 pm, deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in Mt. Hope for a minor traffic violation.

During the stop, McClung had told them that there was marijuana in the vehicle which led to a search.

Deputies found 5 separate bags of what is believed to be cocaine, a set of weighing scales, a sum of US currency, and a firearm

Katelynn McClung, 28, of Rupert, was charged with Possession With Intent to deliver a Schedule II Narcotic.

McClung was transported to Southern Regional Jail to await further court proceedings.
