Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Summersville man for allegedly soliciting a juvenile male.
Adam S. Hamm is facing charges of solicitation of a minor and use of a minor to produce or assist in sexually explicit conduct.
According to a press release, Hamm met the child at the state fair last year and continued to message him and play video games with him.
He allegedly requested pictures and offered online currency and other items associated with the online video game Fortnite.
He also allegedly expressed interest in meeting the child at this year’s state fair.
Hamm is being held on a $50,000 bond. Greenbrier County Prosecuting Attorney Nicole Campbell and Sheriff Bart Baker are reminding parents to monitor their children’s online activity.
